ABOUT 1st Marine Expiditionary Force

Retreat? Hell! We just got here.

About us
The 1st Marine Expeditionary Force was Founded in Early 2011 and consists of four regiments: 4th Marines Mounted, 6th Marines Recon, 7th Marines infantry, and 11th Marines Artillery. Currently all Regiments are activated. We are laid back out of game but very professional in game, we have been around for roughly 5 years now of an Active Gaming community and a good time with good people.

Historical Context
While the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force was not active in the Napoleonic Wars Several Marine units were serving aboard U.S warships in the Mediterranean and several campaigns against the Barbary pirates such as the capture of Derna in Tripoli. The 1st MEF uses 100% Authentic Tactics and training with the help of several active duty Marines and an original copy of the USMC training manual of the time.
