During the time of this review, I have completed the game and replayed it to attain most achievements. Also, I have played several point-n-click adventures before, so these are my thoughts,

Story: For those who are unfamiliar with Agatha Christie's work and character, Hercule Poirot is her version of Sherlock Holmes. While the name hints its murder mystery, now it's quite obvious its a detective based story and that's what it is.

Graphic and Presentation: The visual are mostly soft 3D models with characters having cell shaded presentation. The colour scheme seems simple but charming. Since its a puzzle based game, the placement of objects and how they are placed are well presented.

Game-play mechanism: Although point and click game, we still need to move Hercule in the scenes. Also, Hercule has to reach the exit point to actually exit the scene which sometimes is kind of frustrating. The control mechanism is simple limiting to observation and interaction as additional function. I played it with XBox format controller and it was smooth, but I would prefer mouse for cursor movement and precision. However, cursor sensitiveness can be adjusted for analog stick of controller.

Sound: Scenes are usually filled with its ambience, so either there is clock ticking or wind blowing. Foot steps can be heard distinctively depending on the terrain which is a nice detail.

Overall experience: I have played many point and click games and enjoy such themes. ABC Murders is definitely one of them.
