Just like the first one but better in every way.
This is a rogue-like but with slow but permanent progression.
With time you will beat it.

The main game took me 16 hours to clear through (26 attempts on the final boss). I haven't even started with the extra content, which makes this kind of game fun to replay.

However, if you like to just play through a game to beat the final boss without all the extra challenges then you might want to pick this game up on sale. 16 hours to clear to the boss for credits wasn't exactly a super long game.

Having said that, I loved this game. It's better than the 1st Rogue Legacy. Additional classes, additional passives, etc. It feels almost too overwhelming with the extra content. But, the difficulty is balanced extremely well and the boss fights were fun. Definitely worth it!

Too grindy for a rogue like, imo.
