The athletics change is nice, I never noticed much of a difference before when increasing it

It's an amplify skill, it gains a ton of charges when you spend mana on other skills. After it has a lot of charges, you use them all up to fling a hundred fireballs at something you want to kill quickly. You can also use the passive version of it, it's a decent combination with the Ignite skill if you take the passive that makes it apply on enemies you hit with flame volley

However, on my Earth magic character, I simply do not use flame volley. I find it unnecessary compared to a fully maxed rolling magma and using ignite + ring of fire

Yeah was also considering using RIng of fire and Ignite, do you use ring of fire as active or passive?
Speaking of rolling magma - Is the "vortex" passive usefull in any way? I tried it and found it extremelly inferior to the base way the spell works. Kinda can't find any niche it is supposed to fit.

Ring of fire as an active absolutely. It loses its movement speed and damage boosting abilities when its a passive, it just turns into a basic ring of fire damage which isn't super helpful compared to an on-demand powerful buff. I max the upgrade that gives it instant +4 amplify and bonus damage boost, but i dont upgrade anything else on it

I tried the vortex once and immediately stopped trying it. I have no idea what it's supposed to be used for. Maybe it's good for applying a lot of burning stacks to a boss for an efficient amount of mana, but the regular spell and Ignite work just fine for that, enemies can move out of the vortex easily

when I'm using demo knight or someone with an ability, I have to look down at the cool-down for a second, and that second and cost me my life, is there anyway to change it to be like, under my cross hair like in that one video abt demo knight in competitive?

Netcode/hitreg is garbage

I stopped playing CoD years ago, and this "battlefield" feels like it's just trying to siphon off their disappointed players with small, quick maps and game modes. Hell, even the new map in the beta is so small that even in CONQUEST there's no room for vehicles. So it's just a bigger meatgrinder map that oh so perfectly fits a codboi playstyle.

And do I even need to mention that they're adding in a BR gamemode? I feel like it's super obvious at this point.

No, I'll spend my money on other games that aren't trying to cater to audiences outside their original design.
