I’m trying to get back into tf2 before college starts and I’ve granted over $25 in wishes so far :)

Grind.

The game lets you grind. There is no level scaling.

The game also lets you respec your build easily.

In settings reduce I think reflection, things about explosions...
Someone with more knowledge will have to help...

I encountered a bug in the Toronno challenges also preventing me from getting 100%. By any chance, did you complete challenges before the game hit 1.0? That's what I did for the Toronno campaign, and my stats for the Small Detour level say "3/2" challenges completed, which is what I think is causing the bug. I would check your stats for each individual level of the Miami campaign to see if any of your challenge counters are messed up.

Not all of them, I went through and redid every challenge to make sure

Yeah, you're running the "Native Linux" version of the game (built by Aspyr). That was indeed abandoned years ago; Valve really needs to make Proton the default for this game on Linux. My copy is running 1.0.12.68 at the moment.

BTW, Proton isn't technically an "emulator"; rather than trying to mimic Windows, all it is doing is switching calls made to DirectX into calls made to Vulcan, a graphics library native on Linux. This is why it runs Windows games just as fast as (and sometimes faster than) on Windows.

Not a good argument at all. The arguable majority of discussion threads add nothing of value, yet they aren't locked. Only locking threads involving a singular topic isn't a good look imo. It would be one thing if it was numerous topics, but all of them are about the same thing. Just because you don't think this specific topic is worth talking about doesn't mean everyone else agrees.
