You do realize that there are otherways that dev/pubs collect feedback right?
Some of them don't even require your active participation.

Read the Early Access information page for customers. It encourages active participation.

And as said, that comes with the caveat that you observe proper conduct on the forums,. If tyou cannot you're gonna run into the same problems as anyone else who doesn;'t. Secondly Devs aren't obkligated to to take your active feed back into consideration. In fact many devs learn not to listen to what gamers say...they say lots of things, often conflicting.

Stormgate is about to release into "1.0" despite acknowledging it's not finished. They are asking for support, for people to purchase their campaign and the official release so they can actually finish developing their game. I have mixed feelings about this as I want them to succeed given that the RTS genre is a dying one, but that's far too long to get into.

So basically they're releasing the game as a miniomum viable product type deal. Fair enough. What's the problem AAA studios literally pull this ♥♥♥♥ all the time. Fair point to make that the game is Free to Play.

FIrstly. STar CItizen is not in the early Access program and neither is it on steam. So they can basically do whatever they want.

Secondly. Nothing in the rules says that devs can't do any sort of monetization they want in early access.

And? They are releasing the game in a minimum viable state,. WHether or not the game gets additional development is dependent on the financial viability. I.e It has to be worth the dev's time. Just like any other game that gets released.

1,0 Is and always has been the point where the devs feel confident calling it finished .
That's all it ever has been and what the develioper is willing to consider finished can change over the course of development.

Point of matter is you can provide no actual evidence to support youir claims. Just vague feels.
