yep, first thing you should do after spawn is get the rain collector up and running i make at least three, then start a stoke pile of water bottles and you should be good from there.

I'm wandering if farming will get rid of my need to stalk pile food, if ill be able to keep my food up using nothing but farming and fishing.

beware some AA guns cannot tilt and aim all the way up, stuck at like 45 degree angle or a bit more.
i think 50cal quad mount halftrack is one example

use direct control and hold right mouse button to manual aim the gun to test it.

Germany / USA 37mm flak halftrack is a good reliable AA option
when in range im getting 100% shot down rate since new update.

keep 1 right behind your frontline
keep 2 on your side of the map ---but fan them out to left and right side of map in case plane comes in at an angle so they have to chase it down a bit sideways.

can also use stationary flak guns towed by a jeep / car they run pretty fast on double click.

2.5 years since I last played NMS, it seems like it's about time again. Never been bored in NMS, never will be in Starfield (I'll let you guess why).

... If you just want to keep up with the meta then scrap this plan of going after old characters aside from shorekeeper. Maybe camellya but you probably need sequences on her by the end of next year.

Yes, but for how long do you think the sequences might keep a character useful. You mention Camellya needing sequences soon. If I get her to S6, do you think she'll be useful for a few years? Or just a year?

(I have to admit, Camellya is one of my favorite designs, so I want her. But I worry when people talk about her becoming obsolete or getting replaced.)

Fair enough, regarding the elements. I was originally aiming for 2 or 3 elements, but then there was a month where everything seemed to resist the two elements I had, making things far harder. With only ~4 characters more to draw to cover the other elements, I figured I'd go for all 6, especially since I can probably do that by the end of the next anniversary.

But I see your point. I still want Camellya (which gives me a Havoc team) and Zani + Phoebe still seem quite appealing, so I'll probably go for them during the next anniversary. That will give me 5 teams.

I'm trying to select my characters for fun, but I got Yinlin early on (not knowing she sucked), and I still love playing her. But I can't use her for endgame, which sucks. I'm not terribly impressed with any of the upcoming characters, and especially the collab. I just want the characters I like and own to remain relevant for as long as possible, and if sequence progression will do that, I'll take that route.

I think that was near the end of the first one? I know the second one is a straight continuation so perhaps it might have been in the beginning of that one but I'm fairly certain it's the first. Even though the sequel was kind of goofy I still liked it. The third one, though, is like a whole different kind of movie. They completely drop the found footage angle but I still liked it, especially the ending.

Game is awesome, besides this nasty update. Some things are worthy of change. But speed, nah, i dont want to waste more time than neccesary in the maps.
