Running on 9800x3d and rtx 5090. After the 1.0 I got some frame drops. 4x Framegen works fine, but I have to visit esc menu time to time or I lose the benefit of the setting. Some serious issues about

The ability to reach through the screen and clobber anyone who asks what my super power is. Might be a peak C- or D-lister power, but it's useful in a pinch!

You do, of course, realize, that there are a number of PTS's in some of the ranger outposts we cannot get to at this time. There's nothing stopping these from connecting to outposts in parts of the park we don't yet have access to, thus negating the need for "fast travel", by being that fast travel.

Of course, I do have a different suggestion, but it's not going to be a terribly popular one...

It's frustating dying and getting kilometers for to go to get your BAG again and again and again...

... then don't die. Then you don't have to run and get your bag, don't have to find the things you would have found had you not died, and you will save yourself a tremendous amount of time.

I gave up dying in Grounded, about... three years before the introduction of New Game+, and 100% the game with all four teens - there really isn't much of a difference between any of them, except for the dialog. They all run as fast, jump as high, poke, swing or shoot the same, so it's really just cosmetics.

Not dying isn't as hard as it sounds, it just means taking a minute to think before you act, and the willingness to flee a stronger foe until you've leveled your gear, set your mutations, and had some practice. Trust me, my first encounter with a Northern Scorpion involved me running, jumping, and climbing in ways I would never otherwise do, while slamming slurries like they going out of style. My next encounter, I'm sure the scorpion wanted to do the same, but never had a chance. Ditto for my first run-in with a wolf spider.

Did you realize they not only can, but will grab a hold of you, especially in the air? It's actually pretty nasty and can impart some major damage.

Lol, mob respawn timer and that sneaky back stabbing knifer that has quiet shoes and spawns 10 ft away in real time. mf'd
