i update my picture about the game since i abandoned it. still (too) many reviews reflect exactly what i excperienced. i conclude: nothing has changed other than the game is/was on sale again.

The game is arguably a cat turd with some nuanced sprinkled on it

It entirely possible that first round did hit, and did damage, but the explosion and noise didn't trigger.

I've seen this happen on some AAVPs a few patches ago. Tandem hit, vehicle disappear, pause, wreck appear. No boom animation. Never experienced it with a tank before.

cheat engine can't be used in like 99.9% online games, and games it does work on has zero anti-cheat protection. It's the equivalent of a game genie on a nintendo.

I think atm the pistol dual wielding was disabled...
Atm you can dual wield with the SMG, pick up a second one or buy it and then press the middle mouse button

I tried buying a 2nd SMG but the game won't let me. Picking up a 2nd SMG only gave me ammo. Do I have to start a completely new game or something?

I could buy a second SMG without a problem after only having one.
I also tried picking up one from the ground and it gave me a second SMG

So idk if it's bugged or you may need to restart, but it's working fine for me

If nothing else, my experience with Last Epoch taught me to never buy another game in Early Access again. Yes, indeed, lesson learned.
