Hi Ludi, sounds like me for my first game ! lol - I played four games before I managed to survive the first Winter Invasion. Each time, I improved my village to achieve this goal and refined my strategy. But once I understood the mechanics and the essentials of what to do and what to have, everything went smoothly. I have now survived three Winter Invasions, with no villagers dying and no buildings lost. I continue to apply the same strategy and make sure to increase my villagers' skills and my defences every year. If you like challenges, Aska is one of the best games out there!

It's all about how you want to augment you playing style (and if you're alone or with a group).
Want to be the dude/dudette who carries around extra supplies for the group? You go with that makeshift set!
Wanna face-tank a jotun's machinegun spray? Go with the F.O.R.G.E set and cross your fingers the bullet effect triggers!
Me? I go with the Exor set: bionic legs effect plus a top-tier Exor summon that is augmented with the Core Keeper trinket. You got armor, speed, unbreakable legs, and a unbelievable hard-hitting pet summon. It's perfect for a solo player.

My issue with this remains as well. I had about 53% ram in use while Task Manager was up earlier. There are a few of these in their bug report forum. I started seeing these since before 1PM PST when I first tried logging in. Please update this section if it gets resolved.

I'm not sure I like the change in 2d art style and presentation, including the minor changes in things like the health bar, but I'm willing to wait until the final product to make a decision.

What I *do* see is in-game combat, cover destruction, cut scenes, and strategic maps and movement. It's hard to say how much time is left before launch, but the game is past minimum viable product, and seems fairly feature complete.

Of course, there are a million things to do even when you have the main gameplay loop complete, but, and I'm going to be a little critical here, when you release a video this basic with mostly in-game assets with some in-game animations, you're not trying to fool people with painted BS, you're showing people what the state of the game actually is and you want to get back to making it.

That's my opinion anyway.
