Well, that's not so good news. Downloaded and installed the 580.88 drivers a day ago and started getting random black screen freezes (GPU crash, audio still plays) that require full PC reboot (4060ti 16gb on W11). Went back to 566.36 and zero issues since then.

It's likely solar panels aren't used by Ficsit for efficiency reasons. When you're on Earth already dealing with global warming, it's great. When you're on a pristine planet uninhabited by humans, with untapped massive veins of fossil fuels, and you're an uncaring corporation, burning them is simply better than devoting huge amounts of space to solar farms.

That said, I do want rain a lot, it would be super cool.

What about the shows like The Boys which present far worse things on the screen compared to games you mentioned? Or truckloads of horror movies?

Bro is spiralling like a medieval peasant that saw their first eclipse. It takes a whole two buttons to turn on. There is no "breaking" or "bricking" of your PC by enabling this. If you run into issues its reversible. Which the chances are very low.

Wow, go ahead and tell that to the people whose motherboards don’t even support TPM 2.0.

If you're just trying to enable Secure Boot, TPM 2.0 is not necessary. You just need to make sure your motherboard has UEFI firmware and Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS settings. What are you talking about?
