Okay so lemme break it down.

Type in the search bar diskmgmt.msc, that'll be the easiest way to find it if you don't know where it is.

Now that you have the manager up, you should see all your drives listed. C: D: E: etc, for however many you have.

Right click the disk with Windows 10 on it, and click "Convert to GPT."


Now if there's no option for whatever reason, (maybe you have a hard drive from the 60s, lol) we can do it via a command prompt.

Open command prompt, (type in the search bar cmd) Right click command prompt and run as administrator.

You'll have a black box that should say c:users\user\> (or something like that, it can be, it can be windows/system32, etc, but if you're on Windows 10 it should say users and show your current account's name after)

Now in this C:\\> area go ahead and paste in the following:

mbr2gpt.exe /allowFullOS /validate /disk:0

Hit enter, and it'll run. It'll validate your drive, should succeed. It'll tell you if it did. Disk 0 is the drive Windows 10 should be on.

Next up, paste in and hit enter:

mbr2gpt.exe /allowFullOS /convert /disk:0

Now your drive should be GPT. It'll tell you that next you need to restart your PC, just follow the instructions on screen. It should be all done after that.

If you need any more help, like with booting in UEFI, let me know.

neither of those work. Already tried the second (which is what EA had listed on their website) which did absolutely nothing, and no, the first one does not work (it's grayed out) and My system does not have the MBconvert exe file that comes in system32 on some windows installs. I already looked this ♥♥♥♥ up. i've been at this for hours. My hard drive is two years old. It's solid state. It's not from the 60's. I'm not some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot who can't or won't use google to look ♥♥♥♥ up. Happens to me too, any time a new level starts. Either by progressing or going back to the main menu and starting a new run.

Got it working - Find the SublevelZero.exe and run it in Windows 8 compatibility mode. Should fix it.
