I am genuinely curious , why do people want to keep shouting in public forums that a game is dead? I don't get it. What do you achieve from it? Attention? Hate for the game? Do you want the game to die and shutdown? Do you want other people to play something else you like?

Not everyone's running on hate here. This would've been my dream game actually, but their release decision are evidently flawed. They are not gonna make back the cost, so it looks pretty grim for continued support in the future. The low player count drives potential customers away as the games relies on their player-count. So my question would actually be what happens ? When is support gonna end for this game or do they plan to re-release ?

I get that. This is something I always think of as well, I am sure others do as well, but the post themselves doesn't really help the situation. Everyone can see the public numbers, its well public.

I don't have a source, so take it with a grain of salt, but from what I have gathered on their discord, they seem to be happy with the reception so far and plan on future marketing efforts. I am happy to hear that and I like to think of it like this:

If they did a massive marketing push, spend a lot of money and time advertising the game and it does blowup lets say to 30k players in the first month. Good right?

All the complaints and balance changes would have been ten fold as well as people leaving negative reviews for pretty much those and various other reasons. That would cause the game to receive more negative press purely on volume of them, drowning out the positives, similar to the situation we find ourselves now with the dead game posts overshadowing any meaning criticisms or feedback or just general discussion around the game.

I am sure no developer wants their game to die and yes money has to be made, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy what we have and help improve it as best we can as players, since we want the best possible experience.

You are saying this about a 2013-or-so motherboard feature that Windows 11 sort of expects, and people have been telling everyone to turn this on for over 10 years now.

You haven, and the game is forcing you to realize you need to update your settings from 2013-level to modern time.

It just takes introspection to realize the game is actually just revealing your own lack of forethought and initiative.

I.E skill issues.

You're potentially kicking tens of thousands of legit users out of open beta just to maintain a cheating system that has a 50/50 chance of stopping cheaters.

I know if you were one of those tens of thousands, you'd want that ♥♥♥♥ gone.
