Yes, they are disabled for now. They seemed to be one of the causes for the crashes, so the Dev disabled them until it's fixed.

Bot do not do this, The bots might get in team mates way and cause problems but they are moving. And bots will take a cap. Turtles are always human players.
even bots behind land mass are moving they just get lost and can't find their way to open water. (they are not hitting anyone)
The strategy actually works provided you don't care about winning. Since you only win if your team takes the caps. But if you don't care about winning or place on team it is a safe way to get a good K/D ratio
(Until I see you, I love killing turtles since they are not moving once I get the range....)

damned risk averse players, personally couldn’t care about a good k/d, I achieve a lot more out on the open water in 5 minutes than someone hiding behind an island does in twice that

The sheer number of toll roads in France with barriers and guards standing around the booths, not attendants, but guards, which would be dumb in any game, but in one that claims to be a simulator becomes absolutely ridiculous as it completely defeats the purpose of having it automated to save money on wages, made me so annoyed that i uninstalled the dlc and as an added bonus i lost my two year old profile, because it took a few days before i went down there and by then i had written over the saves which meant they where not compatible anymore and i was forced to start a new one.

As veteran BF player from BF 2, i just deleted the Beta because I cant activate the secure boot. It's sad to see I can't play my fav FPS franchise. Sometimes not everyone can afford a new system.

Loosing Panorums should happen quite early in the scenario, if I remember it right. Was it that the scenario, where you start with a couple of units in Sicily and holding the city, then get attacked (by land) by a superior force? This should inevitably lead to the loss of the city. (Or was it the second scenario?)
