Hi, thanks for the reply. I had no idea there was an inventory until I read one of the other discussions where it was mentioned. Just before you replied I went back and had a look and there it was... I feel like a bit of a doofus now :D

Did anyone find the looting speed after update become slow? I always had to turn back for the items that was left on the floor.

the "mist"

as the "mist" you play as a fully black oval shaped creature with 8 red glowing eyes and you also have 5 long spiked tendrils that you use as legs, and there is also a black fog around your body but not your legs

controls:
hold grab to take control of one of your legs
movement keys to move around (obviously)

you can climb on walls and and poles (not background walls)
you have to manually stab a creature with your legs, sometimes a creature may get impaled by your leg and get stuck, you will have to wiggle your leg until it falls out or you can hit it against the surfaces which will do more damage than stabbing, you can also scrape a creature against surfaces to do small but decent damage (there will also be a higher chance of a creature falling out of your leg by doing this)
creatures will be afraid of you (other than blind creatures and big creatures)
you are an electrovore, meaning you feed off of electric
you are immune to electric-based attacks, such as; centipede shocks
if you get shocked by an infant centipede, you will get half a food pip
if you get shocked by an adult centipede, you will get 1 food pip
if you get shocked by an overgrown centipede, you will get 2 food pips
if you get shocked by a red centipede, you will get 3 food pips
if you get shocked by a centiwing, you will get 1 food pip
if you get shocked by an aquapede, you will get 1 food pip
if you get shocked by an aquapede UNDERWATER, you will get 2 food pips
if you get hit by an electric spear, you will get 2 food pips but recieve minor damage (less than a regular spear)
you have 4 hp
you cannot be seen in the dark by creatures
you will gain a red outline (will apply to legs) so you can see yourself in the dark

you will also gain food pips from touching those electric pillar things in iterator superstructures

Im running borderless at 4k with dlss on quality everything else on highest settings. The texture flickering is incredibly bad not even 10 minutes into the game. How the hell does no one see this in QA? I'm not playing anymore until a patch fixes it. What a ♥♥♥♥ thing to experience in a story driven experience. Hope a patch is tomorrow or at the earliest, next week.
