Run the EA App manually. The steam launch of the app crashes in the background - once you run the EA App separately it will force its own update, then you should be able to log in.

No worries at all, in fact I'm impressed with your patience, giving that you had to wait for nearly two weeks to get a possible solution. Again, my bad!

Now that you mention graphics settings, there is a specific option, called Ground Texture Quality, which really taxes the GPU bandwidth when set to High. If anything, please be sure to set that to Medium, Low or Abysmal to give your PC a better time.

They have announced on Discord they will do a 3day 20 buck bundle for the base game with Stelle so people who already have the game dont have to pay so much again.

Solo mode prevents griefers, yes, but for me it makes the game feel somehow hollow. It feels so empty — no random encounters with some fellow trader or explorer, no funny interactions in deep space. You cannot get the same experience with NPCs. So I made a compromise: I switch to single player when I’m on expensive, important cargo, a bounty-hunting mission, or a data run. It’s safe and keeps your blood pressure low. And switch back to online after when I am done.

Join the Moebius PG and you'll be in instances with random players where PVP is forbidden.

I understand that you're working on introducing the map editor and that it certainly isn't an easy thing.

Once you're done with the big updates, I think a lot of us would appreciate some quality of life changes when it comes to the game. There are some bugs that are a bit annoying. Here I will list some that I've come across and I encourage others to write some if I missed any.

1. Sound progressively becomes dimmer every time you join a new server, or a new game starts.
2. In conquest, you often times don't receive points for capturing a flag. I don't know why this happens.. its kinda random.
3. Spawning in mid air and falling to your death.
4. Getting killed by your vehicle upon exiting it.
