If you enable secure boot, but don't have the right certificates installed (hard to tell on a lot of motherboards), then essential firmware files will be prevented from loading and your machine will not POST. That's called an expensive brick. It's hard to predict how your motherboard and other hardware will respond to having secure boot enabled, unless you know what a Key Exchange Key is and what an Option ROM is.

Many people leave secure boot disabled on purpose when building their PC, since it adds zero security and just adds another fragile layer of complicated ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ just for the sake of security "theatrics." If you dual boot, or just have multiple drives you would like to be able to boot from, then you are making your life more complicated and giving yourself more work to do in order to set up secure boot to work correctly, for zero security benefit.

Secure boot is not designed to stop you from modifying your own machine, so it is more of a barrier for normal people, and not cheaters.

There should already be a notification sound but if you get a string of notifications in a row it won't play the sound every time (I found this got quite annoying). Note you can add an auto action to buy ingredients by shift-clicking the item on the shopping window

It's fine to abandon the passion once you have completed the goals, there is no need to keep it around. You will still remain married, divorced, etc.

Moving to another City would be very cool, but I also understand that this would be pretty difficult to do without changing a lot of how the game currently works.

You can move to another city by exporting your household (truck+globe icon above the speed buttons) and then importing them into a new game.

I've been playing CTF nonstop for the past couple of days and only have 97/250 medals listed. Would anyone be willing to help me cheese these medals? I'd need 4 people and we'd have to mess with the matchmaking system. It will also help anyone else farm those out if they want.
