I don't quit, but today someone on my team forced opening the door to Heolstor and I was very frustrated (because I got disconnected before night 2 boss and lost all my runes at the mountaintops making me lvl 11 on Day 3, so I was already on edge). My god, when will they fix that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ door bug that makes you drop with 2/3 bars on the first death... Or when will people realize that it's not okay to do it, especially when the other two teammates are already running to the door.

It's not a bug.

Once the Spirit Shelter is reached by anyone, a 120-second timer is started.

With the time up, the door can be opened.

The door:
1. wipes Ultimate Art Gauge;
2. wipes all ongoing Buffs and Debuffs (including stacks of Power of Vengeance and Power of House Marais, possibly even Morgott's Raid, as that is lost on death as well);
3. does NOT restore your Revive Damage bars (meaning if you died once, or twice, you will pop up, fight the Nightlord, get downed -- BAM two or three bars, depending on your count beforehand; and disconnecting or crashing and getting back on counts as a DOWN AUTOMATICALLY).

It is not a bug -- merely a multitude of functions the door encompasses and POORLY synergizes with other features (such as downed states/disconnections or crashes into adding a downed state bar). It's just VERY unfriendly toward anyone who is caught at a bad time.

However, it is also stupendous at combating cheaters in the form of Vengeance and Marais Relic havers.

... But it's also the only positive it really has -- if anyone is stalling for time, the door will... not really help, because... why? Well... they can just hang back and not fight the Nightlord all the same time, so... yeah.

The lesson is not to make a fighting game based on an anime series that 1, goes on hiatus ALL THE TIME, and 2, hasn't been super popular in ALMOST A DECADE.

Im sorry but this is what battlefield is, was, and will be all about, it presents endless chaos of a battlefield at best. The series was never a milsim, it was always between realistic shooter and arcade, it shifts towards arcade on gameplay aspects whereas it puts away clown cosmetics of arcade shooters. I really enjoyed the BF6, it feels like a true successor to BF3, i didn't understand what made you mad tbh.

Bulls**. In previous BFs you had to use tripod to have no recoil. That required some positioning and was limiting your movement. Now you can just run and gun and enjoy zero recoil. This is NOT like old BFs. Either you have played them on YT or you have memory issues.

VR is a massive flop. Just look at Meta. The Zuck poured endless resources into one of his greatest VR headsets and it still didn't catch on. People just don't care, despite the marketing.

It's a cool concept, but has a ways to go to be what we expected when we saw Ready Player One way back when, lol.

I'll give VR a go again in 10-15 years when it's been polished.
