It's a shared universe so it does not matter what mode you are in to get first discoveries. The modes simply work like a filter.

i like this game, but sometimes i wished there was a "none pixel-ated" version of this great game =D
i know its an art style this game has, still i hope when they do version 2, they drop the pixel art for an cartoon one or close to cartoon one. heck i would not even care if they did a normal model full HD one lol, anything but pixels, i'm kinda over the pixel games, i did not buy and have a 5k dollar gaming rig to play pixel games on lol.

Just solved. Windows' firewall intercepts EasyAntiCheat. You can add it to the whitelist, or close the computer's firewall, and you can log in again.
