There’s probably a few 5090s out there running a duo or trio training new bots just to be the first on the market for when we inevitably get a market. You’d be dumb to rule that out.

I still play some old games with servers kept alive by a singular bot that I watched get better the more that I played it. It’s a real thing. Just waiting for someone to blow the lid on that industry because it’s kindve new and not going anywhere anytime soon. It’s why players ‘in the know’ always doom post on random discussions about a player being hardstuck, it’s likely that the players run into this problem without even knowing it since they aren’t very good and struggle with team play.

I’ll go off beat for an example. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 was a beginning of the new era with controller cheats that raised the beginning of the huge (yet real) conspiracy of fps titles going too far with the lobby match making . Turns out input reading and heat maps joined together form an almost impenetrable ladder of skill Changing game to game. Once I found this out I spent days on nuketown being crouched only with a sniper, I was met with lobbies of only corner campers or Faze MLG snipers or lmg pronerboners. I tell you this to tie into the skill ladder. Controller cheaters would be placed into lobbies with other controller cheaters, anyone who finds themselves in a game of this would get melted, gets put back into a more common heat map afterwards. And to tie in again with newer titles, machine learning needs a human element always so a player who’s not going anywhere likely is because of the style of play they’ve adapted to from the bots KEEPS them with the bots. It’s a little extreme to say a full lobby is bots and then one human. It doesn’t work like that. Because humans can have anomalies it’s also equally as likely to be thrown into a horrid game of ai that is disregarding you because of your anomaly not fitting with what’s been learned, starting another learning cycle. The kinks are there. Hard to explain but I’ve seen this all irl.

There are things to look for but I’d rather not go into that, it’s not my job. But if someone is curious I’ve seen undetectable cheats first hand and know a little bit about the bots that players run into being flabbergasted from the way X is playing Y.

It’s better to be informed than to look away especially on machine learning in fps titles. It’s being hidden to the best of corporations abilities since it’s undetectable in almost every way. A step forward is the Secure Boot nonsense being adopted by big heads of the genre and they have a long way to go before they catch up to the issue. If they ever will.

I think I’ve rambled enough already. This all either makes too much sense or none at all. Lol. Take what you can from it.

Play another wolf pack until you happen to raise a white she-wolf runt. The chances for that are low but not zero. Her parents should be all genetically grey wolves, no black wolves allowed to maximize white wolf chances (also they're technically not white, just very light grey). The runt won't have all -2 stats, but the idea is still there. And because you raised her, you will be able to skip the 'hunt 2 elk' requirement once you play as her.
Even though LR allows you to have the Fire Tower/single hex territory setting, imo I think Hellroaring is the hardest map due to the elk migratory system being a little unfavorable compared to other maps.
Once you get your prince, avoiding 'predator heavy areas' is undoable because of the lack of barriers. The white fur kingdom is also highly unlikely to happen. There is a better chance of creating a black fur kingdom due to how wolf genetics work. Two lightly grey wolves will not make more lightly grey puppies. As long as the puppies have the grey wolf allele, they were spawn with tawny coats, grey coats, etc.. Mating black wolves together however, will almost always produce black puppies. They'll be small and sickly litters, but some might make it. A few might beat the odds and still be grey as well!

Wow, thank you so much for the detailed advice! 🐺💖
I didn’t even think about the “raise your own runt” route to skip the elk quest—genius! I might try that in another run, but for now… I still want to suffer through as the true weakest princess 😂

And yes, I know the White Fur Kingdom is basically a genetic fantasy, but that’s what makes it so romantic. Even if it’s only 1 pup out of 100, I’ll still fight for it… or rather, my handsome prince will fight for me 🐇👑

As for maps—interesting point about Hellroaring being harder than Lost River! I picked Lost River for the drama of the Fire Tower surrounded by enemies, but maybe I’ll try Hellroaring in a future “generation” run.

Also, I’ve decided to expand the rules to include the possibility of building the White Fur Kingdom over multiple generations! This challenge might become a long royal saga… 👑
You're welcome!
The loophole still follows the rules and keeps you from hunting elk unnecessarily. This loophole might help in another way. Since in this instance, you must raise the runt from birth, you will be able to follow the runt's story more closely, keeping her alive because she is so weak and vulnerable. You could play as her parents at first, who must protect her the same way that her future prince must when she grows up. But that's only a suggestion.
happy roleplaying! o7
