its not about bugs, I did not encounter a true actual bug my entire play through. But the game itself is just not great. Things that "worked" in foxhole just dont transfer well to this new game at all. Also if they want new players and a new market making foxhole that is not foxhole 2.0 seems like a bad plan.

Fully agreed. They could've just taken Foxhole over and gave it a revamp for medieval times. I'm not sure what the F they're doing here

Maybe I'm missing something, but everyone just seems to No-mic KOS instantly; even if I'm a naked dude with a rock. (For context I just started playing yesterday)

Idk, whenever I'd play Dayz for example; there was always a chance you'd find someone and possibly team up or whatever instead of just die and Dayz is WAY harder a take on survival. In rust it just seems bland, there's no interaction.

Am i missing something here?

Not likely to happen. The greedy publisher basically shut down this studio leaving only the original developer to bug fix the game. They forced him to release it incomplete and buggy and then abandoned ship when they didn't get millions of day 1 sales. This is the same publisher that is throwing out simulators like it's Halloween candy since they don't care about quality and want a quick buck. I'm sure the developer that's still working on this game (it's his brain child) would love to do more with it, but at the end of the day if he's not getting the funding needed then there's no chance the game will have more stuff added.

I don't know what it takes and how he programmed the game but one would hope that he had programmed the game with future updates in mind so that he could do minimal work to add the other existing maps to the sandbox. But I have no idea how he's structured the game.

But I remember when I first started doing programming for data systems on the web I didn't at first program with future additions in mine so it took me more work if the client came back to me later on and wanted to add some more questions answers, search functions to his database system. I did learn fairly quickly after my 1st or 2nd client to program for additions from the start to maximize my returns.

Will there be any mods for stronghold crusader on steam workshop or just maps that could be done by map generator ?

Most of the romances have points where they move forward in Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3. If you miss any of them, they tend to become a failed romance.
