- Download the saved game from the dedicated server.
- Load the saved game from the dedicated server locally with the desired mods.
- Save locally.
- Re-upload the saved game to the dedicated server.

Probably not. These people have been modding Homeworld 2 for years. The kickstarter backers have had access to it for quite a while now, I think. Still a shame I missed it. I highly doubt they'd get enough sales and then abandon the project when they have something they could customize to their hearts content. It's already looking better than Homeworld 3, though that's not saying much. If they don't have it out by tonight, I expect it to be in a week or two. It's just too bad they didn't post something here about it.

Imagine if someone came into your house, that is set up just the way you like it over the years, and told you that the white walls, that you love, should be painted pink, or some other colour you despise. What would you say?

It's not about taking offence, no. It's just shutting down dumb ideas. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Changing fundamental aspects of the game more than five years after release is the dumbest move Crytek could make, and to some degree have already made. 1896 relaunch is a perfect example. A lot of the changes were hated, and for a good reason too. They're slowly walking them back one by one. I hope wall penetration nerf gets reversed some day.

Hey mate. Um das mal aufzulösen: In D gab es eine Gesetzesänderung, nach der in D nur Games vertrieben werden dürfen, die eine Altersfreigabe haben (daher geprüft wurden.). Das schränkt gegenwärtig viele Titel ein. Einen Key woanders kaufen sollte noch funktionieren.
