Hello games (No Man's Sky) has something right around the corner for you. They need to take a hard turn into fantasy immersion so they don't do what a lot of side-scrolling clones tried to pull off stuff like starbound and terraria... no, devs, the same game formulae does not apply across genres so you can just plaster "sci fi" or "fantasy" onto the same mechanic bones and let 'er rip ... that does NOT work well, zenimax, thanks. Anyway, enough digression, if they get it going with enough identity of its own it should be great - that said if it's just "NMS, fantasy version", we all know how that's going to turn out. Yuck. I have a little faith given their history of sticking with their product and trying to hammer out the flaws, though. This title looks like it's more focused on 2-4 coop play than the solo-esque style of NMS, but they have yet to release it so... we'll see.

Enshrouded was another co-op survival fantasy I was looking at with the fam, and it looks like it checks your boxes. As with any successful title, I'd highly recommend checking the producer before purchasing, That will give you a lot more insight on the possible future of whatever titles you're purchasing, not to mention keep you informed on who it is your money is going to.

In these instances, Hello Games is privately held English company, while Enshrouded is a German title produced by slightly bigger bucks. Both seem solid, but do your own homework.

Light no Fire, games that Still in development by Hello Games. Initial plan is that almost like the scale of NMS, but instead multi worlds, it's will be one world with the real size of a planet.
Hopefully, their history with NMS, and their long road of redemption, will be enough to give some consideration.

I hope next megapatch will be all about new content. We really receive nothing new in terms of new quests, etc.

The minimap is a separate application. You can purchase it from the vendor.

I get a black screen on startup most of the time. I typically have to kill and restart the game 4-10 times to start playing. When it actually loads it really doesn't take that long to get in, less than 10 seconds for me on my 8600k.

The mouse sensitivity is way too high for me, I normally use 800dpi. The option to change it would be great so I don't have to go into my mouse settings and drop to 400dpi.

With my 3090 I get ~80fps max graphics and ~120fps lowest graphics at 1440p. Not too bad of a range but a lower graphics option or DLSS/FSR for people with older budget cards or 4k monitors would always be welcome.

The reflections are very spotty, I'd be okay with a bit of an fps hit to help fix that if you wanted to add an Ultra reflection quality. Especially if you added DLSS.

You may want to start the player slightly to the right of the current spawn point because the game looks like it's glitching right when you spawn in due to the very tiny sliver of wall right by the ceiling window that doesn't catch enough reflection samples.

Fun game. I've found 25 of them so far. Hoping you add another gallery with its own set of differences in the future that you can access through another hallway from the starting area.

I'm not telling anyone anything, except that the game runs fine for me. That's it. That is all I CAN say. At no point would I ever suggest that had anything to do with superior knowledge of computers, I don't know why it runs better for me than some.

And you are incorrect, the game doesn't run fine for you. The game will stutter for you as it does for everyone else across all platforms.

This isn't one of those things where it behaves differently on different machines, it behaves identically on all machines, more powerful machines at best can mitigate it a little, but no where near make it invisible.

At best you just don't notice stutter, which is hard to believe but possible. At worst your lying. In no case is the game running fine for you or anyone else though.

they used to send newbies to nearby workshops via quests, imo they didnt even warn em it was pvp free for all.

I did it yesterday and looking up on some of the troubleshooting AND making sure to not fry my windows took a bit of time.

Still great to be on the PC master race - doing stuff like that is fun (personal opinion) when you get it to work :)

You can offer anything you want - cards, items etc. Every single offer is different - so it's my personal decision to accept, change or reject the trade. Remember - better initial offer - better chance that i'll accept it immediately.

Take a look at my open inventory - I have 5300+ cards from many other games to trade :)
