its what they do. theyve also in recent years started to release a patch that will bork certain game mechanics, and a 15 dollar dlc that unborks it. then engage in some real heinous anti consumer practices.

I rolled back to 52.02 for now, much less frequent and don't care much about the dyes. This bug has been around for 6-7 years now, but something in .03 made it much more frequent. If you go into properties on steam and select "Beta"'s, you can roll back to previous versions.

Pretty much, you see the fort was just not fabulous enough since I ignored dying their armor so they fcked right off to another city

A save feature for Journey of the Prairie King was added to 1.5 which makes this challenge a lot easier. Simply save at the end of each level by quitting out, then go to bed. When you wake up, return to the arcade machine to continue from where you left off. If you die at any point, quit to the title screen, reload your save file and try again.

I'd strongly recommend finishing Prairie King itself first before attempting Fector's Challenge, as you get a home edition of the game to place inside your house in the mail the next day upon doing so. That way, you don't need to walk all the way over to the Saloon and wait for it to open every time you want to retry.

I'd really love to play this game but its impossible to get into a game. Waited in que for nearly 20min and it never happened...
