I saw this game had almost 90% recommendations at launch that's why I used to be interested because games that come out with high praise are usually good.

Now it turned to absolute trash level recommendations. What happened? Why do the reviews are so bad now?

Bonus question: Is watching the Dune movies worth it or not? (I have no idea about Dune movies or games at all)

Game is a bait and switch

Starts off strong with decent PVE loop, building, clear progression paths with quests and crafting and one-shot recipes, PVP is almost completely optional - but if you do find PVP at a shipwreck, it's ground PVP and you get to fight back...

Then you get to endgame and find out there's no PVE loop any more... PVP no longer optional (unless "not playing" counts)... Griefer galore in Deep Desert... No satisfying PVP endgame for PVPers outside seal clubbing farmers with thopter rockets...

So people play 80 hours in Hagga and go this is sweet...

Then get to Deep Desert end game and go "what the F-- happened to the game I was playing an hour ago?? Can I have that back?"

Well not exactly bait and switch. The Hagga Basin is still good, but I think almost everyone expected much more from the Deep Desert than we got.

This is a common issue with the current path finding, fixed in the next patch due in September.

- You might try building a road around that lake. Workers try to stick to a path or road when travelling to a resource or storage location.

After demo i think that animators and AI programers needs a support from someone expierienced. Graphic are very good , atmosphere good , music great but in first mentioned aspects there's a lot to change ,repair or implement. That would be busy time for Alkimia. I think that maybe we will see the game in April , May or even after.
