I wanted to say thanks to EA for the open beta.

It allowed me to ensure that my computer cannot run some secure boot garbage in order to play the game. There is a 37 step process for me to enable it but I do not game so I can reprogram my damned bios for fun. Ripping out and renaming partitions and what not so that other people can't cheat. That is about as fun as a dental exam while jogging.

Again thanks for the opportunity to avoid a FPS edition of malware. I am sure it is very pretty and much like BF3 where you can blow buildings apart and cackle.

Anyone have a legit fix for this? I've tried everything short of deleting my entire saves folder and uninstalling and reinstalling. Very disappointing. Just bought the game after seeing videos online and now random FATAL ERROR crashes are ruining it.

I just assume the gunplay will be atrocious and that we will endlessly be shot in the back by bandits spawning from trigger spots or within aiming range.

I'm a bit sad they are making it action RPG and not like a traditional MMORPG. That is honestly the only thing i worry about a lot. And i want to be able to run around housing areas and see players houses and make it feel alive. They said "Shared housing areas" but I hope with this that its like areas you maybe can go to? And explore and explore other players houses. And not like a place that is behind a loading screen. If this is behind a loading screen then it destroys everything that Archeage is about.

This game NEEDS to be like Archeage 1 with NO loading screens. Just a open world and you can go EVERYWHERE (except dungeons) without a single loading screen.

I just HATE instanced mmorpg and "pseudo" mmorpgs...

I feel like small crowns are likely rarer than large, again. Took forever to crown hunt Steve and Lagi recently, but I recall small Uth Duna and Gore Magala being nightmares. I still have a bunch of crowns in my investigations at least.

Imagine playing Helldiers 2 and thinking the game engine follows a set of rules it never breaks to screw you over.

Imagine watching enemies spawn out of thin air.
Walking through walls.
Attacking through walls.

Imagine being blown up by "Explosion" in the middle of no where with no aggro.
Getting rag dolled under the map (but only when you're winning).
Enemies walking through fire fields without taking damage (but only when you're winning).
Enemies walking through gas clouds without being confused (but only when you're winning).
Guns completing the reload animation with one in the chamber and then requiring two charging pulls before being ready to fire.
Sentient fire tornado's that target players and turrets.

Imagine seeing all of this first hand and then saying "You're off your meds" when someone suggest the game is cheating / trolling.

I would say whatever meds you are on you should ask your doctor about getting off of them.
