Just an FYI - if this happened to you.
From early in game I received the green check for 'no half-filled trains', but as I completed other tasks late game, the green check became a red 'x' despite ALL TRAINS being at or near capacity - made no sense.
In desperation, I 'stopped'all 4 of the Hi-Spd PAX Trains, and Task completed instantly - No, it makes no sense whatsoever, but game can be buggy. Doesn't stop me from enjoying it, but can be frustrating. Cheers

Also in over 90% of games you can more or less tell survivor spawn area's from the start and don't need lethal to find someone in the first 10 seconds. As you said before, people are stupid and do stupid things and that also means they will dc regardless. Killer could be perkless, they would still dc.

Also not sure what effect you expect removing unused perks to have on the game. This item has never been used, lets delete it so the game improves since now nobody can use it. Yes that makes sense.

And yet, if survivors had an aura perk to see killer for first 9 seconds, killers would biache about it. If in 90% of games you can tell, why have the perk? Oh right because if we all spawn together......have you have lethal pursuer you're odds at downing one of use in first 10 second is greater.
Bob, did I say there would be an effect? No I did not. It was a general statement.

Most run lethal with OTHER aura perks to extend there duration, not for the lethal itself.

Also if survivors run object you see killers aura couple seconds into the match ( although also exposes yours ). If you run Poised you see killers aura first time you get on each gen and survivors almost always spawn next to a gen meaning they can use it to check killers spawn. Those perks do exist. Killers don't care.
