This is you a couple of pages earlier in the discussion, you're not calling out any drama queen, you're just dismissing complaints from people, calling them BF vets as if it's an insult, and then calling for their removal so that you can happily play the game without negative thoughts...

It's not really suprising if you watch history. Tyrants and oppressive regimes always tried to restrict the freedom of speech of the population.

They sure have, and they still do - including the current one here in the US. But don't you find it a little ironic to be advocating for the policing of game devs in terms of what they should or shouldn't make their characters look like?

No one is banning them from doing whatever they want. They simply need to accept the law of the free market, if the product they make isn't interesting enough for the customers it won't sell. It's as simple as that.

Also what i find really ironic is that there is only one side that is pushing for censorship and removal of free speech and opinions (even on this very steam forum) and it's not the side currently at the government.

You and i both know who i'm talking about.

I have heard that there's no ethical billionaires, and there's a lot to support this claim but apparently Taylor Swift is a billionaire and the most unethical thing that I know of that she does is use a private jet, which is bad for the environment but isn't exactly denying people healthcare or getting employees killed in warehouses through unsafe working conditions so...

I think maybe she acts as a decent counter-example to the general sentiment of the claim, no?

I want more to consider on this subject matter.

Inaction is complicity. What does she do with that money to generally help other people? It's not hard to do the math and establish the amount of money someone needs to live a comfortable life; anything more than that is mathematically unreasonable excess, especially in the context of modern extreme poverty.

To put it simply, if wealth and power was simplified to owning a button which bettered the lives of those around you without realistic, noticeable, or otherwise measurable detriment to yourself, would you think they're a good person for not pressing the button? To me, obviously not. Inaction is a choice
