Generally it comes from DLSS and other AI features, those are hard for the CPU card... I recommend to use latest AI stuff with care. I just enable the bare minimum DLSS (optimise or balanced settings). Turn off some features, check if it's better, find a good compromise.

The reinforce reduction pricing at 70 feul seems fine to me. It's an upgrade that provides a big benefit.

The +10HP pricing at 60 fuel feels excessive to me.

In general, I think both upgrades are a bit of a trap for a lot of builds. I don't recommend getting either (or even going ISC) unless you are actually going to play around with lots of elite infantry units. If you are not going for something like rangers or multiple SSF, I find that you are better off saving the fuel and getting more tanks out sooner.

As long as you understand it's free to play game the story is passable and you can find yourself liking the characters.

But compared to any main shin megami tensei title it's well... well it's free to play. I myself play it daily for gacha reasons. You can try it for free and then keep in mind this is temu version of any persona game, so if you like the "overall" aesthethics and theme but not exactly the story in this game- go play other persona games as they are kinda the same but the story is 100 times better

Quillithe, I wish HG would implement my solution for having billions of units and nothing to spend them on: let us buy space stations and make them ours and ours alone, for base-building. Make them cost 40 billion units or some ungodly amount -- maybe "and lots of nanites or even Stasis Devices, too" -- and if the player owns the station, everyone coming into that system is barred from owning a space station in that system, and they must either visit yours, or keep on truckin'. Let players buy and sell them to other players.

It's not like there aren't enough systems.
