Since when is the masses a valid method for determining truth? Popular consensus usually reflects perception, not reality. History is full of examples where the majority believed something that turned out to be false or oversimplified.

I think that when 17% of adults in the US believe the sun revolves around the Earth and 42% believe human evolution is a lie, we can discount what a large portion of society believes. At least only 10% believe that Earth is flat so there is hope.

We discuss what 1% or 99% of what a group of people believe based on evidence, completely separately from how many people believe in whatever position we are talking about.

I'd also like to point out that basing a proof on concensus is flawed because it is likely to compound and lead to errors. Whenever you multiply data points, the odds of it being right actually decrease, not increase. So this method is doomed to fail from the start. It becomes even more flawed when we know echo chambers spreading misinformation exist, reaching millions of people over a period of 1.5+ years - especially during the first 3-4 months of Starfield's lauch. IGN's X grift alone read over 10 million views. Luke Stephens has videos that reached 2.5 million or more viewers at times. It's all contaminated.

I just got past the mesa for the 3rd time after not taking even a tick of fire damage and it still hasn't popped the achievement. Am I by any chance doing something wrong? I think the first 2 runs I got one tick of fire damage but this last one didn't get any and still it didn't pop.
