Any update on having a road map available on either the Steam page or the Steam forums? I think a lot of us really don't care to be in a million discord servers just to get news on each game so I hope if there is a road map that it will be posted either on the game page or in the steam forums. I'd be very interested to know what the developers have planned for this game and what the relative timeline of those plans Is.

We had one in the game...
And then we took it out again.
It just does not gel with how we actually work on the game and it was a strangely huge amount of work and a big stress factor.

I am happy to answer any questions about the game at any point. But putting it out in a fixed doc just felt off.
I know some people see this as a cop out, but as a two person team we have to so diligent about how we spend our time and this was not it.

Currently we are working on a huge update to the meta progression. After that it will be more specialists, quality of live improvements and some tweaks to the enemies and a lot balancing work.
We are not planning to add any huge other different features at the moment. The focus is on finishing and polishing the game that it is.

If you need more specifics, I am happy to answer them too.

I appreciate the response and look forward to the updates. I'm trying to hold off until it leaves early access so I get the full meal deal experience. So, my motivation for wanting to see a road map really was more about when to expect it to release rather than exactly what was being worked on. Anyways, I'm enjoying reading the update notes and can't wait for the full release to dive in to this game.

i would ping spam thrice to see if they would understand it or not, i would debate how much i value that match onward, usually i only pick passive effects if my gear is full

The one time spam pinging is justified. That sometimes does the trick. And honestly, if my build is coherent enough at this point, then sure, take the 18% improved charged incantations passive you'll never use as a melee, whatever xd

My funniest game of Charades was with a Wylder who snagged the Bolt of Gransax an Ironeye dropped for me in the Fulghor lobby. We had 3 by dupping them in Noklateo. I threw and pinged some other legendary, then cast lightning spear on it repeatedly. Pointed to him, then pointed down. While he stood there and clapped like a moron. I gave up eventually. He did not got the cue, nor did he use the weapon himself in the end. Might have been trolling.

It's obvious that every single one has actually been designed to be avoidable and counter able WITHOUT "cheap tactics" which I think deserve praise.

But not. I guess a set pattern that repeats is too hard and cheap for some people.

Avoidable and conquerable, but only AFTER you've learned it. That's how cheap shots work. You get slapped once, then you learn to expect it. It doesn't have to be like that. e.g. Roboquest has a similar difficulty at it's peak, but it doesn't have a single mechanic that is impossible to avoid on first try.

Example: Lizard (2nd miniboss) splits the room into 4 small areas (screwing with visibility, especially in multiplayer), charges at you often follows up with a quick large slam. If you dodged to evade the charge your ability to evade slam hinges on positioning (which you wouldn't know ahead of time). In later phase after charge it emits AoE wave immediately after dash. Again without proper positioning (if you're too close to charge end) you can't even jump fast enough if you dashed. With proper positioning (lets say you got lucky) the lizard lands behind you. i.e. You don't even see the attack that's being initiated behind you until it hits you.

I didn't know DEI had anything to do with hiring knights in 1348. Their reach must have grown long indeed. Bruh.

Saw the new update but the Ghillie hood doesn't allow NODs of any kind to be attached to it. Not sure if its just on my end but still not working.

1st person for dense closed areas and 3rd person for open areas

Everytime i interact with the blueprinter i crash, either instantly or sometimes 2-3 minutes inn. I cant keep playing the game. It's unplayable. I've tried everything, complete reinstall of the driver, changing to DX11, to Vulkan, Back to DX12, DX11 worked for a while but it insta crashes on the blueprint maker.

Un-install Nvidia drivers with DDU and install the 566.36 drivers, they are the last stable.

O.P. Sadly, this game is 'extremely' crash prone, even if your trying to enjoy it on a high-spec pc (For reference I have a NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4090, Intel Core i9-14900KF CPU with 64GB DDR4 RAM) and this game still constantly crashes for me. I can only run it in -vulkan mode, nothing else works.

Probably best to wait for the next stable patch to be released and see if it improves things for you.

The intel 13 and 14th gen CPU's have a MAJOR bug that will cause instability and overheating without BIOS updates regularly, also you have a 4090 and NVIDIA's drivers have been problamatic since the 5xxx launch, version 566.36 is the last stable version. refer to my previous answer.
