win10 installed on samsung 990pro m.2 SSD

i know it's not the MOST modern pc, but it still slays other equally demanding games that I play, cpu and gpu temps are fine/no throttling. man even the battlefield 6 beta feels smoother than playing cs2, and i definitely get lower average fps on that game.

is this just a problem with cs2? anyone else experiencing random inexplicable framerate drops?

Shop reroll bug?

Loving the game so far. I played another pool/billiards themed roguelike that just fell flat, but this one looks to be much more of what I had hoped for. The button in the shop that I presume is meant to be the reroll button doesn't seem to work for me. It takes the money, but doesn't actually reroll the items in the shop. Not sure if I'm just misunderstanding what the button is meant to do or if it's a bug. To that point, I think it would be beneficial to add some text/labels to some of the screens to help make it a bit clearer what things do.

I try hide behind a wall on the ground moment I spawn, he still know where I am and instantly kill 2 people that is so far away from me after killing me.
also kinda sus with some other players using smoke and shooting through smoke getting lots of headshots...

I really don't wanna do PVP. I went to chaos alter to sacrifice some dragon bones and got ganked. As far as I know I never opted IN to pvp. Now the wiki is saying to go to Vala northease edgville to opt out of pvp but she's not there. Anywhere and i've been looking a while.

So can someone enlighten me? is it impossible to opt out of pvp? Is that area pvp no matter what I do? Is there some other way to opt out of pvp i'm not aware of? Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Noob here).
