In my opinion, yes.

It's common sense that what we do as children affects how we mature. If you are constantly doing strategy games where you are controlling nations, managerial games where you are organizing logistical chains, or tycoon games where you are running businesses it will absolutely hone your skills and talents related to these things.
Not every game type is really so beneficial though. Stuff like FPS or sports games arguably do improve your reaction time and hand-eye coordination, but probably not as much as actually going to a shooting range or playing a sport.
