I am currently thinkign about a build using shields, but with the low TTK's and high damages the non trash enemies throw around, I just wonder if the bit of energy barrier shields grant is worth it compared to just wielding a ssecond weapon or two hand weapon.
If I want to be tanky, why use a shield over lets say just a econd wepaon and focus on vitality drain. currently wehn lookign at item stats do not feel like the shield can offset enough protection against just leeching those damage. Ontop of the fact that a shield means slower kill times to enemies.

The short answer is that the EA has 4 trees in it, and they don't have the tree released yet that will pair really well with shield builds. Don't worry, you'll get it eventually.

My recommendation if you're going a shield build in the current version is warfare/earth and focus on fire damage while being unkillable.

@Shin'iri Bro, I advise you not to use the trailer, as the game as a whole is getting slower due to the drop in FPS and also that you have a lot of parts from different cars in the trailer, you will find more loot from different ones than for the right one. I can definitely say that this is how it works.
And I also advise you, as soon as you finish the car, start a new game for a new car
