Yeah it's a hell of a missed opportunity.

I also wish they would just be a bit more forthcoming with us. Right now I honestly don't understand why Fatshark even hires community managers, like with this issue it's August now and the holidays should be over...so why has the fix not been rolled out yet?

And why are our community managers not keeping us updated on the issue or even talking about it for a start. If fixing and rolling it out is more complicated then first thought then alright fine but let us know about it.

For me it's the complete lack of communication that makes me think Fatshark doesn't really care at best or are a bit of a dodgy company at worst.

Executor is one of the, if not the strongest or most consistent character in the game. you can very easily get relics that add either poison or frost to your starter, then a relic that adds either poison or frost mist as a skill. with one of each you get bleed, frost, and poison on your starter weapon. go to a mine and you have a +2 weapon that chunks most enemies.

on top of that you get free heals and big damage with the ult. i don't even use the awkward parry mechanic for the class and still dominate most of the time.

Poison is extremely overrated. It's a very, very small amount of damage and the buff you can get from the relics is only 12.5%.

I get it’s a new standard, but that doesn’t mean it’s the right fix. Secure Boot isn’t some magic anticheat, it’s just shifting the problem from devs to players. If EA can’t handle cheaters without forcing firmware changes, that’s on them, not us.

I mean, Secure Boot isn’t catching cheaters, it just makes it harder for certain cheats to load before Windows starts. EA’s anticheat still has to do all the detection and banning. It might block some advanced hacks, but it’s nowhere near a magic fix, and plenty of games with Secure Boot still have cheaters.

The better question is, is it worth bricking PCs just to lets say have 15% less cheaters? I'd vote no. Now if it could block most cheaters, then I'd be more for it. It’s like locking your entire house down so tightly that even you can’t get in easily, just to stop a small number of burglars, if you even get robbed to begin with. Sometimes the cure ends up worse than the disease.

If people have the know-how to install cheats that load during boot, I'm sure they'd find it not very difficult to sign their own cheats so they can bypass Secure Boot.

Not that people even do that. They use second devices, etc. that are completely undetectable by the UEFI and operating system.

KFC in the uk is perhaps some of the best food i have ever had. i am not sure why but the KFCs in my country are pish, they are just horrible in quality compared to when i visited uk. maybe because fried chicken is uncommon here, so nobody really knows how to make it well.

You unlock everything by playing Campaign & completing Achievements. Standard & Enjoy are the two modes of playing. Enjoy is what I bought other than the game. If thats a Transaction then thats it. Like I say, by playing the game you will unlock tons of stuff. Heroes, Spells etc.
