Racist blanket generalizations will not help your argument and unironically calling others a jerk while saying things like this... feels like reading satire

If you ask them they have a laugh and say yes.
Luckily, we are not the same golems, each culture has its own characteristics and unfortunately and eventually they might clash. That's what it makes our world nice and peculiar.

To clarify, the aforementioned temper tantrums go as far as pretty much calling people scum of the Earth and even wishes of harm/death IRL. All over not following an unwritten-and-completely-not-obligatory code of conduct in a f*cking videogame. I will NEVER stand beside such a person and try to comprehend their view.

Nobody did it, nobody will ever do it. If you want to hide behind the shield of "I wanted to defend weak people" while you just arrived here to say "You are stupid, I am better", do it. Thread is already old and not relevant anymore. Thank you for your contribution though!

I like that you assume anyone calling your revisionist claptrap what it is must have been "called in as reinforcements" rather than just independently deciding to point out that you're making things up in service of a preferred narrative. If you'd bother to read the thread, you'd see I started participating well before I mentioned Lyn--but given your insistence that "everyone did things this way" despite the evidence of lived history (*waves again*) directly contradicting that claim, I'm not going to hold my breath for you acknowledging that, either.

The bottom line here is that you're engaged in wishful thinking in service of a preferred narrative. You are quite literally playing the "back in the good old days" game--and many of us who were there for those days, or even before them, are telling you that you're full of it.

But by all means, ignore that and just carry on.

Also, you clearly don't know what gaslighting is. ;) [/quote]

Making things up lmao
Once again, if there have been plenty of people that apparently went INSANE on the topic (I'm sure it's a lie though), how can it be "my narrative"? If you really feel like that your experience is the only one that matters, with you and yourself empirically validating it, then it's oke.
Apart from you and your very friendly Lyn, in this exact topic it has been experienced at least superficially what I was talking about.

Anyhow, this so much hated and horrible etiquette (bowing? being nice? wtf how can it even create such reaction it's my other question) is generally aknowledged by pretty much everyone as you proved and it is also deliberately ignored, as it has been stated. Do you not question why? Mmmh, surely the concept of this aforementioned etiquette must have been implanted in all of our heads through sincronicity by dunno the blue sentinels.

If you simply google it, you find plenty of proof that this etiquette was an actual thing, it's simply that you were not part of it. Not saying that I was part of a very exclusive club and you were not, at the end of the day it is something that could've or could've not happened. To me, it happened plenty of times. If you open Ds3 today and go to the arena, you will find likely more than half of the people bowing. (Although you have a level 0 account, you might not even own any Dark Souls...)

Now, the results of this etiquette are a global "meta level", more than one player made arenas (not only covenant spots) and so on.
Would a community that despise each other be willing to do that? How do you build a respectful community of a video game? Considering that there are avatars as extention of ones self and ego, what is the mean to be nice to each other?

I could really make an essay about that but you know what is the ultimate truth? That community is long gone and definetely not part of this game :)

VOID censored the game 18 months after leaving early access without being threatened by payment processors or special interest groups. They did it on their own. That's much worse.

Alright, I'm going to say it the way it is because i don't give a ♥♥♥♥. If void had a choice, they wouldn't have chosen to make any changes to censorship at all but they didn't have that choice because they were forced to make changes in order to meet certain expectations for the game to get released on console. You can argue "well void shouldn't have released it on console then" but as if a business is going to turn down millions more copies being sold and a crap ton more people getting their hands on the game just because of some minor changes. That would be the stupidest thing for a studio to do, especially a studio that started as an indie studio with a dream and is continuing to grow.

If you're the type of person to turn down that extra money because you genuinely believe no amount censorship is worth it then i would love to see the day that happens so I can see proof of the kind of person you really are because there's a lot of hypocrites on this forum that say they won't support censorship, but yet they continue to play Ready or Not and browse the ready or not forums and interact here on a daily basis despite all the refund threats and posts about them not supporting void, censorship, and the game anymore.

it's hypocritical.

But your argument fails the actual litmus test of looking at it with nuance. I dont disagree that void shouldn't go after profits. However, those profits would allow them to keep two versions with WAY MORE profit than not releasing the console version OR the PC version. They are way better off. However they didnt reinvest anything into a studio handling the port to handle a PC centric version of updates. There is no excuse or id love to hear a consumer rationale as why studios that do use early access for making the game to only years later release a single version compatible with the lowest common denominator?

It isnt just void doing it. But now that its happening more, im sure im not the only one who wont support early access anymore because it IS taking advantage of the platform and benefits by stripping the overall experience down the road. Im not even mentioning censorship. It goes beyond that. Its a much less intensive game to run and changes a lot of the potential of the versatile platform that PC offers. That's what also upsets a lot of people. Its not hypocritical at all. Consumers who arent mad, thats where the disconnect exists. And the way the algorithms also will mute dissent and how bots just bump every social thats paid marketing is just beyond dystopian. The consumers have literally no resources to fight. I don't get how any human doesnt see this at this point.
