I don't believe we'll have an expansion for Wilds, but Tokuda will surely be moved from the director position.

Being communicative doesn't mean anything when we need to play a subpar game.
I would take anyone that wouldn't speak an word but would deliver an good game over Tokuda.

And people tried to blame the investors, the same people who tried to complain about it either got gaslighted or bullied, from people like you because talking bad about the game is way too much for your frail ego.

I'm having a problem where, anytime I open the character creator, the character appears in shadow, making it really hard to make out colors and other fine details. Other than that, the game runs fine. I've tried verifying the integrity of the game files and even reinstalling the entire game, but the problem still persists. What should I do?

(Following the developers' advice, I posted my message on the dedicated forum, but after 24 hours it was still pending. So here I am, too.)

The last time I played the game was on 23 February 2020, to give you an idea of the update and patch I experienced. It’s a long time ago ahah!

It’s one of the games I’ve played a lot in co-op mode, with two players rather than multiplayer. Like Ark, we quickly hit an insurmountable progression wall when we weren’t teamed up with more players. It’s very frustrating, but it was one of the best of its kind that I’ve tested in 130 hours (Conan, not Dinoland ofc).

Since then, I’ve seen the patches (or rather the Steam news) and I can imagine how much it has developed. I didn’t want to spoil myself in terms of content, so here I am:

In your opinion, is it possible to play in co-op or alone without drastically changing the game settings?

Obviously, I suspect that the endgame content will be inaccessible and reserved for multiplayer players, and that’s okay, but is it still possible to progress normally on your own, like in 7 Days to Die, Minecraft HC, Don’t Starve or any other survivor building game of this kind?

I compared it to Ark above because I think that’s the most accurate comparison: the first boss is almost (or at least was, he must have developed a lot since then too) unbeatable without a team of 15 max-level T-rexs, the difficulty is just ridiculous and insane when playing with two players or solo.

Are there different game modes? Any mods to install?

I really loved the time I spent playing this game back then. If zombies are in 7DTD, cubes are in Minecraft, dinosaurs are in Ark, storytelling and horror are in The Forest, then this game is all about Gods and Cults! The building and combat system was also very enjoyable! Not to mention all the features that were already present at the time and the new ones, I would love to try the experience again!

If you could passively earn them, maybe. But as is, it's like you either choose to grind for it and are bored out of your mind or pay money. And given how horribly the weapon variety is without warbonds, in all these patches we got a singular gun (the meme constitution), it's not like warbonds are even that optional. Like idk, variety is the spice of life and being stuck with base game guns, grenades, secondaries, is some rubbish.
Like ideally when you, a new player, go into an old game, it has a ton of content from all those patches over the year+ 1/2, or like an old returning player. Not just a massive premium store for you to marvel at.

Must feel like trying to get into a paradox game for new players, open up and a few hundred dollars of DLC sitting there.

This again, make a cheaper carrier... No. One billion? I have seen Cutter builds that cost more then that. What you are asking for is the existing FC without buying the addons which you can already do. This is a grindy game. You want credits, gotta grind for them. You want engineering upgrades, gotta grind for it. You want status with different factions, guess what, grinding time. The game rewards the grind. You give people what they want without the grind and then they have no reason to keep playing the game and buying expansions.
