Yeah.. 3-5% is on the front-line the rest is NOT at risk of death and being shot at by an enemy combatant.

It's not exactly a huge amount is it, let's be realistic, they added females because of diversity and politics.

When choosing a comp first check level of map to make sure your current level is able to travel there. Then carefully read the "rules and regulations" on the right side of the "Information" tab, attention to any/all equipment requirements. The "Details" tab has a checklist that's helpful.

As to noob friendly, there is no real way to tell. The easiest way to learn that info is to visit a game streamer, most are happy to help and will give ya suggestions for doing comps as a beginner.

Exactly what I was thinking. Having fewer people means actually having a better chance at not getting detected within the DD.

I might actually try to do some farming in the DD next week if the DD is devoid enough of the gankers that were still there 1 1/2 weeks ago.

About 45 hours here, starting to feel bored too. My progress (solo) is very slow, I know I'm still missing a lot of content, areas I haven't explored, but I get the pattern. Get to a zone, farm the zone's main material for hours, craft the zone's set of stuff, get to the next zone, rinse, repeat. It's a pity because there could be a lot to enjoy in this game. I love the ambience, music is cool, it's visually beautiful.

I enjoyed visiting one of the cities, other than that, it's all very repetitive, and there aren't a lot of different mechanics in the game. Plus the population on the server is very low, it feels so lonely all the time and clearly doesn't help.

It reminds me a lot of Conan Exiles' first months of early access.
