script is exactly like the last time it was released.. also griping about censorship in gaming shows a severe disunderstanding of the fact non-censored games are the exception.. not the rule

there isn't a single game released between the nes and the ps2 that wasn't censored in some way

So you are saying its a problem for people to complain about censorship in a specific game because it happens in the wider game industry, that doesn't make any sense.

PROBLEM FIXED:
If you want to play with a controller, you must first activate Controller Mode. Save. Exit the game and UNPLUG THE KEYBOARD!
In short: the keyboard is causing the problem, as if it were counted as the primary controller (while your pad is the secondary one).
