ESRB itself is corrupt at this point and should be done away with, but it itself is exactly evidence of what gamer's complain about when we talk about some rule/law etc being enacted in one country then imposed upon the entire world.

The whole world follows ESRB rules despite the fact that only a few places in America and Canada actually enforce laws that it must be followed.

For the most part there is no legal authority to follow ESRB guidelines, and yet the vast majority of game companies do so..

On principle this bothers me, as it's a strong indicator of how easily game companies will and generally always have just bent over and gone along with agendas even when they don't legally have to.
Imo it's one of the earliest exploitable doors that lead to where we are now and the kind of censorship BS that we are still dealing with.

Essentially it was a poorly crafted compromise to appease people with an openly hostile hateful agenda against video games.. one that to this day still exists and persists in trying to completely censor and destroy gaming.
Effectively making the ESRB nothing but a colossal failure in it's singular purpose for existing.

But the textures and lightning ARE much better than Eternal.

That being said, did you try disabling Film Grain ?

Also, best I can tell nobody has claimed that Take Two CURRENTLY owns KSP2. They might or might not, I actually do not know. We are refering to when they DID own them

They don't. T2 shut down the studio(intercept games) and fired most of Private div in May 24 (likely due to mis-management at both). T2 then sold the KSP IP (among others) along with the Private division LLC label (which is now Fictions INC) to Haveli Investments in November 2024. You can verify this in the Canadian (where the IP is registered) Property pages

EDIT the speed and scorcher ed earth approach to divestment Take 2 took indicates they were either REALLY pissed off, worried about liability(NATE SIMPSON was everywhere running his mouth) or both. Odds are you won't have a case against T2.

Maybe they come later. You have to be aware that 2H swords need an entire Animation set only for themself. Just like 2 handed spears.
