Steam is in the US, selling the game to me, also in the US. Only the US laws need apply.

Pocketpair is located in Japan not the US so sit down and shut up about other country's laws.

other country's laws have no place being enforced on Steam, an american storefront. poketpair chooses to punish all audiences as opposed to just not selling the game in hostile nations

No putting down rallies is not easy. A lot of times you are reliant on FOBs or waiting for a radioman or 2 x squad mates. Its too clunky.

It's fairly easy. All it takes is a little coordination with your squad which is the whole point of the game. If you remove this then you might as well call the game Battlefield.

There's a plethora of ways to put down rallies:
2 men in your own squad
your radio man
any other squad's radioman
any radio
any other squad's rallies
Command car

if you are not trolling then you should play village a really good game

if have no problem, to get griefed by 4 players, who only want you to sunk and herraseing you in voice, who give a ♥♥♥♥ about the stuff you have stored on your ship, then you can have fun

With my experience, I kinda have to agree. I'm doing okay with the progressive additions, but I can't imagine learning the game as a novice. It's not a good learning environment.

This likely happens for a lot of "Hero" type games that progressively add so many characters. A singleplayer game could grant time for players to learn the uniqueness/advantage of new enemy types, but the frenetic nature of online means people don't get that. They need to learn what's new about the core gameplay, as well as what's new about this killer AS WELL AS what's new about all the perks they're trying out, all in one go.

Ideally, this is something BHVR could resolve with newer modes that aim for simplicity, not really geared at experienced players.

I wont lie, I bought this game on release, and after 2.0 it just isn't what captivated me. I know it led to total bedlam but the feeling of unhampered exploration and multiple FTL methods made it special. Havent played since 2022 and I booted up yesterday, opened a planet window and my head exploded.

I miss a lot of things from the original game, the multiple forms of travel was why I bought the game verses Master of Orion.

I really feel like no thread about the game lasts long. Obviously, it's due to a lack of content and the lack of discussion, but at the same time, it's sad. It's like watching a fire go out. In an hour or two, I'll delete the comments I made here that aren't related to the thread, because we're polluting a thread that should promote positive and fun discussion about the game.
