The recent Steam listing fiasco has me giving platform regulation serious thought.
A Japanese-market independent game was mistakenly listed as "♥♥♥♥♥♥ Dungeon." Clearly a translation error, but it does help illustrate the speed at which automated procedures can land developers in hot water and bewilder or mislead customers.

But some questions do come to mind:
1. How can developers defend themselves against localization tools or AI misrepresenting ?

2. Are there safeguards in place with Steam to prevent innocent public listings like this from ever going live?

3. What is it about consumer confidence
do we see a benign glitch, or a sign that errors can make it through and cause real harm?

I know mistakes can happen, but these kinda of things really do make you question yourself

Anyways that’s just me, I’d like to hear yall thoughts!

If you can find the samples, AND If your DSS doesn't send you into mountains to look for signatures that according to the wiki Does not appear in mountainous terrain. Everything related to Odyssey needs a complete rework, because as it stands, it feels like they completely rushed it without a care.

I think the point was to not just put a dot on the ground for you. That was the old silly way.
It gives you clues, but you still have to use your brain. Forget wikis. Just get out there and look and gain some experience with it, and you will learn where various bio tends to be. I think it's intended to reward skill/experience. Sometimes it's hard to find; that's just part of the job. I've given up on samples from time to time. Going to a blue area and not finding the bio doesn't mean the game is broken or rushed.

This is true, and especially because the area you need is the greenish-blue teal sort of colour.

Like most things in Elite, exo gets easier with practice and knowledge. It's just that sort of game.

I uninstalled the game and when looking for C:'Program Files\EA\AC it isn't showing up which is odd.

That means it’s uninstalled. It’s all over EA’s forums. If there’s no folder there or uninstaller it means it uninstalled. If you have multiple games that use Javelin, then the folder should be there. Since it’s only BF6, the AC gets removed with the game.
