Yeah the launcher wrecked my fps as well. Id needs to fix this garbage because 60fps is legit unplayable if you’re used to 144.

Let certain units keep pocket ladders for lore reasons, like Clan Eshin units, but could the animation be replaced with grappling hooks?

Thanks for the kind words and sorry for your eyes! I thought we had the black paint in the demo but I've been working on the EA version too much and might be mixing things up. We'll be releasing exactly one month from today and you'll get access to extra colors for your walls and flooring. I think we have a lot of flooring but not too many colors planned. “You’ll like it once you find the fun” isn’t a strong defense of a demo. If the build can’t onboard, perform, or offer interesting choices in the first hour, that’s on the demo—not the player.

this isn't battlefield 6, it's a 4x game, things take time to simmer and develop during your scenario, your hero gets stronger and creates bonds, your city gets bigger and more advanced as you learn new and powerful technologies, you discover hidden species that gives you different path to victory and also, if they put the monsoon right at the start of the game, there would be no strategic point in having this cool mechanic in the game at all. A demo should demonstrates what the game is about, and that's what it do, that's what it do, if your attention span can't last more than 20 minutes, maybe you're not interested in the game or should try another genre. A childish ''quotation'' answer deserves a not so polite answer in return.

If the highlight of the game is “just wait a few hours, it gets better,” that’s not a defense of a demo—that’s an admission it failed at its job. A demo is supposed to sell the game, not ask for blind patience.

I didn’t “miss” the fun because of attention span, I reported what the build actually gave me: stutter, eye strain from the art style, empty early turns, clunky UI, and questionable combat placement. That’s not a genre preference issue, that’s basic execution.

If you enjoyed it, great—different tastes. But writing off criticism as “childish” because it doesn’t match your hype says more about your need to defend the game than it does about my ability to play one.

The plot is fairly generic jrpg fare and character development is on the weaker side. Character development can't compare to the Tales Of series or the stronger Final Fantasy titles. The game's stengths are definitely its gameplay and quality of life features. That said depending on your gripes with jrpg gameplay this game might be a revelation.

Because as poorly managed as Bethesda seems to be Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Prey and yes Starfield are still among the better game franchises out there.

Hate all you want but they revamped Oblivion it did well.

Unfortunately they seem be like an old band to be stuck on replaying past hits. Heretic (1994) and Hexen (1995).

LOL, no, I played Arena on release. I think I was running a 486 at the time. This was back in the days of sound cards not being integrated and 500MB HDDs were like $600. I was in my 20s.

In the first game grounded had pets you can get. Unlike buggies, pets are small and give you a boost if they follow you. it would be really nice if they could bring back pets for grounded 2. It is always nice to have a pet running around your base so it would be cool if they brought that back in the update that brings back mushroom bricks (mushroom bricks are needed to make pet houses). It would also be really cool if they added newer pets for grounded 2 (exp, baby snails could be a pet for grounded 2) and they could also make it so your buggy can carry a pet so you and your buggy get a boost but sacrifice being able to hold planks and weeds while carrying a pet. This was a silly suggestion for the grounded 2 devs i wanted to make please do not take this seriously. (:
