I rarely play dbd now, and I used to be a survivor main, and I've seen alot of good and bad k1llers during my time of playing.
Main thing is ALOT of survivors will say that bringing certain perks/addons/offerings can and will be toxic, usually the survivors will complain about it, don't let em get to you for what you use or bring into the match.
If you want to have fun in dbd as a k1ller or a survivor, bring in anything, even if it's a toxic build or not.
Especially if you want to beat said side.
If you want to be a friendly killer, usually what I do is look at the survivor and start nodding up and down and 95-99% of the time, the survivors will nod back or start humping the air and they will know that you are being friendly.

It might be worth discussing since many people are unaware that clarification to the epilogue exits, but there are 2 and are in direct opposition to one-another.

Japanese: Told in a (mobile?) card collector game that Ramxa's party survived Melmons, ultimately coming into conflict with Delita's forces. Apparently canon.

English: told in final fantasy 14, the opposite occurs and Ramza's party join the Lucavi. Tge stiry here is that due to the unavailability of the japanese game, English speaking people got too attached to the darker explanation so this was given to give a sense of closure.

Bonus: delita was intended to have his own chapters in original release and it was cut.

I don't know the contents of these sources, byt i assume someone who does will interject. It's worth making the discussion to at least ddraw attention to this.

The mod has been rolled back to a stable older version due to reports about a problem with the most recent version. It should be possible to continue your progress with the older version until the issue is resolved.

DirectStorage 1.2.4 is out on NuGet, new NVIDIA drivers out, as well as AMD drivers, yet the problems persist if you run an up to date Windows 11 build.

I think Nixxes has to step in and fix this, because NVIDIA, AMD and Microsoft won't do anything to solve this.

DirectStorage got updated to 1.3.0 with some Bug Fixes:

Fix built-in CPU decompression to fail requests that contain invalid or corrupted GDeflate compressed data. GPU decompression does not report these errors this way because the driver will TDR when it encounters corrupted compressed data causing the DirectStorage request to fail;
Fix DSTORAGE_DESTINATION_TILES for resources with different width and height;

Defending your city is incredibly easy, just move your throne outside the walls. The army will leave your city alone and vanish once they touch the throne.

If you do not build stockpiles there are no resources lost either. There is virtually no point in having an army, beyond having the number of troops to satisfy slaves / population. The combat system / map painter components are easily the weakest elements of the entire game and best avoided.
