I see that (mis)behavior, too. It looks like SmartFluidCanister.xml might be missing the following lines:

It usually doesn't effect my colony, because the colonists make only as many smart pheromone canisters are are needed at the start of the playthrough, use them all, and never try to attract any more animals.

So far from testing my conclusion is...

Rage slash and TCS seem both good, just for different play styles.

Hunting edge seems so much better than Strongarm Stance.
I could see Strongarm working if it cost only one wirebug and/or always countered into a TCS, but at two wirebugs... no.
Hunting edge just seems infinity better.

Tackle seems so much better than guard tackle as guard tackle takes so much longer to do for what seems to me be minimal upsides.

Power sheathe seems so much better than backslide, if backslide had the repositioning of the slinger shot did in MHWorld then maybe it'd be good but from what I've used with it, it doesn't seem to.

Charged slash combo also seems so much better than Surge Slash combo... like it's not even funny how much Surge slash combo seems to suck.

I feel like the Greatsword got screwed as the only reasonable switch skills you can switch between are Rage and TCS.

got some crashes on release day, pretty annoying. havent played MP since but soulstorm campaign. currently attacking tau stronghold and wait for the crash at end of mission. wont forget to save short before tho ;) lets see, but thats different topic.

It doesn't explain anything, when you literally have other cities depicted as Franks, Britons, Italians and Teutons, none of which had reached the regions depicted, either ever or not for another several decades. It's just an excuse.

The entire region became Gallo-Roman, which is effectively covered by Romans. These aren't Celts any more than the French are Celts.

Narbo I will admit would not have been Italians and instead be Romans. The purpose of this mission similar to the last Attila the Hun mission I believe has more to do with variety than historical accuracy. It would require a major overhaul of all civilizations if they were all made Roman. Maybe Vasconians could have been played as Celts instead of Franks for the same reason why we do not have Basques on this game as an official civilization if every other enemy civilization were to be Roman, but that is about it.
