If you’ve found your way to this post, I appreciate you taking the time to read.

I’m hosting a friends only Garry’s Mod Manhunt server — a simple but tense game mode where one player becomes the killer (Nextbot) and the rest are survivors trying to last until the timer runs out. I’m using a time mod to keep the matches structured, so every round has a clear goal: survive until time’s up, or be caught before then.

The idea is straightforward: the killer hunts, the survivors hide and move carefully, and the tension builds as the clock ticks down. Each round is different — sometimes the killer is aggressive and quick, other times they stalk and wait for the right moment. Survivors can stick together for safety or split up to make it harder for the killer to track everyone down.

It’s a mix of running, hiding, and outsmarting each other. The game doesn’t require a lot of complicated rules or add-ons — just the base Nextbot setup, the timer mod, and some willing players ready to have a good time.

If you enjoy simple but thrilling rounds of cat-and-mouse, then this host might be exactly what you’re looking for.

-The environments aren't as destructible as I would like. Certain walls that you would expect to blow out, aren't destructible.
-I get caught on the environment sometimes, and either get temporary stuck or permanently stuck.
-Where's the bullet penetration? I can't penetrate objects in the environment that I thought I'd be able to penetrate.
-Tank physics are... off. It doesn't have the weight it seems like it should. The tank gets into funky positions at times. And the tank can't drive over/through objects a real tank would absolutely be able to. Getting stuck on minor geometry, or burned out vehicles in the street. And somehow, a tank can't drive through anti tank emplacement on a camera tripod...
-I'm not sure what the point of zeroing your weapon is when it appears there's no bullet drop that I've observed. I think bullet drop would not only add an aspect of realism, but also balance snipers out. Having to plan your shot, arc, and bullet speed would lower the sniper spam that some maps suffer from.
-Helicopter controls? Haven't flown a jet yet. But the helicopter controls are one of the worst implemented vehicle controls I've EVER experienced in a video game, and my steam account is old enough to buy alcohol. If not the worst. I don't think there's any excuse for this. I fly in Star Citizen, with all sorts of different ships in and out of atmosphere. I've played flight sims and other games with vehicles. The controls for the helicopter are counter-intuitive.
-I would've like to see a lower price point, and a focus on cosmetics as a revenue stream.
-For the love of God, please remove the intro animation in the beginning of each round. IDK why, but it bothers me A LOT, and something about control being taken away from me, and an out of place cheesy animation that would never happen during war time, bothers the $hit out of me.
-The UI needs to be more intuitive. I don't want to be hitting escape or move my mouse to the top right of my screen to back out of a menu. Let me hit right mouse to back out of a menu, or put the back button in a place that's more intuitive instead of a tiny back arrow at the top left of the screen.
-While I'm staring at my screen at the end of the match for an extended period of time, PLEASE let me customize my load-out. Let me rifle through the unlocks, builds, class setup, etc. Let me do something instead of just staring at the screen.
-This is probably asking too much, but TrackIR support or Tobi EyeTracking for freelook would be immersive and fun to play around with.
-I REALLY REALLY REALLY would like to rebind number 6 for triggering the class unique ultimate perk, or whatever it's called. That would be nice.

few minutes ago , did the pre-order , as i did with Stellar Blade at day one annoucement and Wuchang : Fallen Feathers ... gotta say , Lost Soul Aside reminds me of Noctis (the FF Versus XIII version) , and that hyped me in. Besides Clair Obscur : Expedition 33 , this is my second most hyped game for this year. Hopefully , they release an demo or do not dissapoint us when it officially lauches.
