Same here. 0 Crashes (except for one, but that was my fault because I used the Pulsar gun with an auto clicker and was too greedy).

Some people faced heavy lagging due to too high framrate. It's not a crash but maybe it can help you. Try to limit fps on 60 just in case your setting is above.

I use them for bedrooms as the game views them as fires - height is no issue just stick a horizontal beam at a convenient height, (ie just above head height) then add in others beams to give the impression of rafters.

I've also used them in egg incubators both for chickens and for asksvin. They get around the issue of building barriers to stop hatchlings setting themselves on fire. I have an enclosed asksvin breeding facility in one play- through which is big enough to hold about 4-5 adults, with 3 hanging braziers for both lighting and heat. Eggs laid anywhere within the facility basically self-incubate.

The number only works if

1. You are service provider yourselves
2. You are a major user for said service and you get deep discount.
3. You have revenue stream which offset the cost.


All of which this dec isnt.

it does in fact make the game significantly easier. the service good price increases are nowhere near enough to compensate for the commons

The resolve you get from the commons is only half the full bonus of using a service building, but it costs just as much of the good, so in a sense it is wasteful.

on the other hand, service buildings cost you blueprint picks, way more building mats, and labor. they lost a major part of what made them appealing and weren't compensated in any way. any service building that doesn't offer additional resolve as an effect is borderline unviable imo, with the exception of clan hall

the commons is an upgrade you need to buy in your ancient hearth. you can hold that for as long as you want. and even if you already have the commons, the penalty is only -1 resolve. in essence, that's not a factor that will decide anything
