Yes, one may no need to use Quantity by correctly balancing between Mercenaries and Vassal armies. Though Quantity makes army management, wars, expansion much easier early game. In mid game it is still useful when you fighting major powers like Ottomans.

Religius is the key to unrest management and Deus Vault helps a lot in constant expansion. It is pretty obvious way for average player for doing this.

Trade helps a lot to quickly improve economy to support wars with major powers while you slowly building your trade conpanies.

Policies are also nice.

I am not saying this is the only way. What I sm saying is that this is pobably the most streight forward way of playing satisfying game for Muscovy/Russia.

yep, and they need to fix this annoying bugged and also hard nerf more on the Wall Crasher because it's still impossible even with 8 players and how many Serena's we need for this annoying boss fight that we cannot progress the story... :(

Do best of three for less scooping. Personally I scoop at the drop of a hat, but I don't own any thousand dollar decks so... if I can tell I am up against one it's off to the next for me.

Great game and update. Now a minor criticism over muffed punts. Although it seems I am usually the beneficiary there are are way too many muffed punts.
