go on, let's hear it, explain in detail how computers work and what framerate even is and how it works, do you even know how electricity is turned into image on your screen?
because i do. by calling it dumb, you only proved that you have no knowledge of how computers work.

are you saying that running unlocked:
1. does not put your GPU and/or CPU under 100% constant load? what tools have you used to check this? what is your GPU and CPU load when running unlocked? what is your CPU and GPU load when locking it to 60? or 30?

2. does not cause instability? have you ever even tested locked vs unlocked? what is the longest you have ever played? 1 hour? 2 hours? first play minimum of 5 hours with unlocked, save your results by using proper analyzing tools and then play 5 hours with locked. you must lock it to something that your GPU is even capable of handling, if your card can't pull more than 60, then locking it on 60 OBVIOUSLY has no effect, you must lock it below what your card can handle, like if your card can pull 90, then lock on 60 and analyze again after 5 hours of playing, then post your results here.

3. does not significantly increase PC temps and power consumption? what are your temps when running unlocked vs when running 30fps? and what software you use to analyze this? does it make csv file or txt file? what format does it save the results in?

4. makes your eyes magically see higher than 150 hertz? cuz most humans can't even make different between 75 and 120 hertz, you must have some robot eyes if you can see over 150 hertz.
5. makes your monitor show more frames than it hardware allows? if your monitor is 120hz, it CANNOT and WILL NOT show more than 120 frames per second, because it can only refresh 120 times per second.
have you ever even tested? why don't you ask your friend to lock fps to anything between 75-120, make it so that it won't show fps on screen, then without knowing what your friend did, play an hour and then take a guess what FPS you're at. i can bet you 1000usd that you will get it WRONG, cuz you won't be able to tell difference between 75 and 120. i guarantee it 100%. if your friend sets it onto 90, you have to be lucky to guess 90, so make 10 tests in row, ask your friend to randomly set framerate to anything between 60 and 120 and your job is to guess the framerate he set it to.
there's been lot of research and average person won't be able to tell the difference, only professional pvp gamers on high-end machines are able to tell difference between like 75 and 120, but nobody is able to tell difference between 120 and 150 or higher. that's a FACT.
you need specific test patterns to be able to see higher frequencies, ones that don't exist in games.

what software are you using to analyze performance between locked and unlocked?


...why are people so poorly informed nowdays, every time someone intelligent points out a true fact and some low-IQ people don't understand it, then they instantly resort to mockery and insults.
just cuz you don't understand it, doesn't make it dumb nor false.

is there any reason you refuse to test? are you afraid to shatter your fragile ego by realizing that i'm actually right? is this why you refuse to test and see that running unlocked causes your GPU and/or CPU to be 100% load at all times, causing PC to heat up significantly more than with locked and causes general instability issues?

Here's a FACT for you: it doesn't crash nor freeze for me, so if you're such an expert and call facts dumb, then why are you not able to fix crashes and freezing yourself?

Yes, I agree. Creating an argument is exactly what you're doing - you're creating conflict for no reason. I was asked to provide information about one thing, "Please tell me one popular game that's doing well and the "normal devs" do this kind of stuff and it works out for them." and I did exactly that. At the first tower, upon deactivating the beam and stepping through the portal, a still image loads before sending me back to my most recent check point prior to going up the elevator.

When using the first "forerunner orb" terminal, the pause screen comes up, and all audio save for the menu and other application audio ceases.

Unsure if these two issues are related. I had fully quit the game and reloaded POST grabbing the terminal.

I've wanted VtM:Bloodlines 2 for well ♥♥♥♥ since I was a 20yr old in the military, and beat the game the first time way the hell back in 2004.

it was unlike ANYTHING i had ever played, it blew my mind, it was so ... EVERYTHING. It was jank too, lots of jank, but it was forgiven because of the awesome gem you were given.


Now to hear this is a linear game, with limited character customization options and you have to pay for "Clan DLC" to play as specific clans.

WTF?! I feel forsaken by the IP, though the original devs of that masterpiece had nothing to do with this train wreck dumpster fire.
