Hey folks – game designer Adriaan here with a small update on Hidden Folks… Remember that black & white searching game that you liked enough to subscribe to this newsletter? That one!

I have two exciting updates.

First – Hidden Folks is this week's ✨ Free Game ✨ on the Epic Games Store! It's a good time to tell your friends about the game and force them to "get it, or else". It's literally free until the 21st of August, so there are no good reasons not to get it. Maybe you should get it too, again, just for the fun of owning it again and again?! Yeah! Second – as I am wrapping up my work on the game I spent the last year on (Rift Riff, a tower defense game that is wildly different from Hidden Folks but heck maybe you'll like that one too?), Sylvain and I have taken the first official step in setting up a new company for continued Hidden Folks development. While it's not yet fully set up (there's still sooooo much paperwork) there's no going back now. Hidden Folks sequel confirmed I guess?!?!

Last time I sent a Hidden Folks newsletter I asked for suggestions and we were super overwhelmed with the responses. Literally. You folks sent me over 800 emails and I read and replied to all of them which took me a whole week haha! And now we have a massive, never-ending list of fantastic suggestions from you all that will serve as a huge inspiration to the game's development. Sylvain and I are incredibly grateful for your input.

Next time you'll hear from me, it won't just be words. I promise!

When I set the movie and the time comes to start, I do not receive a notification and the customer enters the theater, and when I go to the projector to play it, the letter “E” does not come to me to play it
